dc.description.abstractEste trabalho investiga possibilidades pedagógicas do brega-funk no teatro a partir de cruzamentos entre Paulo Freire e Augusto Boal. Como foco de análise, a Oficina Teatral: O brega-funk e o teatro político na contemporaneidade, realizada com alunos da Escola Municipal de Artes João Pernambuco. O estudo apresenta um breve panorama sobre a Pedagogia de Paulo Freire (1968; 1996); o Teatro do Oprimido de Augusto Boal (1974); o movimento do brega-funk e do afrofunk (MACHADO, 2020; SILVA, 2019). Como resultados, este estudo mostra a importância desta expressão artística, tão popular no contexto territorial pernambucano, como potencializadora de uma prática formativa em teatro a partir das especificidades corporais que a caracterizam e das reflexões críticas que o contexto territorial e político sobre o qual ela emerge suscita.pt_BR

dc.description.abstractxThis work investigates pedagogical possibilities of brega-funk in theater based on crosses between Paulo Freire and Augusto Boal. The objective of the analysis, Oficina Teatral: O brega-funk and political theater in contemporary times, carried out with students from the Escola Municipal de Artes João Pernambuco. The study presents an overview of Paulo Freire's Pedagogy (1968; 1996); the Theater of the Oppressed by Augusto Boal (1974); the brega-funk and afrofunk movements (MACHADO, 2020; SILVA, 2019). As a result, this study corroborates the importance of this artistic expression, so popular in the territorial context of Pernambuco, as an enabler of a training practice in theater based on the bodily specificities that characterize it and the critical reflections that the territorial and political context on which it emerges. raises.pt_BR
