O papel do revisor textual: uma reflexão discursiva

Abstract

This text investigates the role of the subject-textual reviewer, discussing its importance and complexity, with the central objective of demonstrating that the role of the reviewer goes beyond a simple grammatical correction, and taking into account a discursive and mediating action that directly influences the path to the construction of the meaning of a text. The theoretical foundations that support the research are French Discourse Analysis, created by Michel Pêcheux and developed in Brazil by Orlandi, and researchers, who, like her, consider the social, historical and ideological as the basis for understanding the production of meanings. Throughout the work, other concepts related to ADF are also discussed, highlighting how the reviewer is inserted in a social context that leads to his/her actions in the means of production. The article also addresses the market, a field marked by the digitalization process and the diversification of content demands. In this scenario, the reviewer needs to be constantly updated and adapted to new technologies and trends, expanding their field of activity beyond the traditional role. Thus, the research reinforces the need to recognize the reviewer as a critical subject in the production of meaning, contributing significantly to communication and the construction of knowledge in contemporary society.
