Certificação da acreditação hospitalar: revisão narrativa

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to show and conceptualize quality within health institutions, as the training of support workers occurs. The present study made it possible to identify the characteristics of hospital accreditation, seeking to analyze how this certification can promote benefits for the institution, customers and employees. For the development of the research, a narrative literary review was used. Developed from 25 articles published in specific journals in the health area and other related areas, books, magazines and websites, which addressed, directly and / or indirectly, the subject in question. It was analyzed that in the majority of articles dealing with Hospital Accreditation, the authors sought to analyze how important it would be if all hospital institutions sought an adequacy to obtain the certificate, serving as a guarantee that the institution seeks excellence in its service and in dealing with the functional body in a constant manner. The articles dealing with the theme of quality in health institutions showed that the quality management process must be part of hospital institutions, since the organization is thus obliged to adapt to new demands and be in continuous progress. Accreditation, being a certification like ISO, requires that the health agencies that seek it, define goals and start investing in training, making it essential for the institution to reach the necessary goals, such as the quality that will satisfy customers and concomitantly, receive the hospital accreditation certification.
