About UFPE Institutional Repository
The Institutional Repository (IR) of the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) has the goal of collecting, storing, preserving, disseminating and ensuring reliable and permanent access to academic and scientific production of the University, in a single virtual location.
The IR is housed in the worldwide movement of open access to scientific production. This management model for electronic documents provides greater visibility to the intellectual production of the University, providing to society the results of its research, creation and innovation.
The Repository is organized into communities that correspond to the UFPE Academic Centers. Each community can gather their production in different collections that include various types of documents, such as theses, dissertations, undergraduate degree conclusion works, journal articles and books.
