dc.description.abstractEste trabalho investiga a gênese e evolução do inconsciente na tradição filosófica ocidental. Utilizando uma abordagem hermenêutica e revisão teórica e analisando nomes capitais da tradição filosófica ocidental, o trabalho rastreia a noção de inconsciente até a sua explicitação teórica e sistemática na filosofia de Friedrich von Schelling. O artigo aponta que o inconsciente não se trata meramente de uma ausência ou subproduto da atividade racional, mas constitui um elemento indispensável na formação do autoconhecimento e na articulação dos impulsos subjetivos. Com isso, reforçando a necessidade de superar a dicotomia entre o racional e o afetivo, apontando para uma visão integrada da mente, na qual os níveis conscientes e inconscientes interagem de forma dinâmica para possibilitar a emergência de uma identidade plena e autônoma.pt_BR

dc.description.abstractxThis work investigates the genesis and evolution of the unconscious in the Western philosophical tradition. Using a hermeneutic approach and theoretical review, and analyzing capital names in the Western philosophical tradition, the work traces the notion of the unconscious back to its theoretical and systematic origin in the philosophy of Friedrich von Schelling. The article points out that the unconscious is not merely an absence or by-product of rational activity, but constitutes an indispensable element in the formation of self-knowledge and the articulation of subjective impulses. With this, it reinforces the need to overcome the dichotomy between the rational and the affective, pointing to an integrated vision of the mind, in which the conscious and unconscious levels interact dynamically to enable the emergence of a full and autonomous identity.pt_BR
