dc.description.abstractConhecido por uma vasta série de imagens e estereótipos, o Nordeste até hoje é visto como referência às representações de atraso e tradição. Sabendo-se que nos dias atuais o Nordeste vai muito além destas imagéticas, este trabalho tem como objetivo a busca de novas representações destes elementos identitários nordestinos na cultura popular. A isto, a pesquisa inicialmente visa compreender em termos de definição, o que se entende por cultura e cultura popular e como estas se manifestam nas relações sociais ao longo do tempo. Após a pesquisa se encaminha para um momento mais atual da cena Manguebeat. Denominada de Pós-Manguebeat, ou Geração 2000, verificou-se trabalhos artísticos que começaram a despontar de forma sutil, novas representações destes signos, como o filme Resgate Cultural, aqui apresentado. Por fim, analisou-se as duas séries de animação, intituladas de Noisé e Lá Vem, que trabalham com esses elementos identitários da cultura popular nordestina e pernambucana, deslocando-as para um contexto mais atual e assim ressignificando novas interpretações.pt_BR

dc.description.abstractxRecognized for a series of images and stereotypes, the northeast, until now, is seen as a reference of representacions of delay and tradition. Knowing that in the current days the Northeast goes beyond these images, this work aims to search new representations of northeastern identity elements in popular culture. At the start, this research has the objective to comprehend the terms of definition, what is known of culture and popular culture and how these manifest in social relations through the time. Later, the research take a way to the current moment of the Manguebeat scene. Denominated by Pós-Manguebeat, or Geração 2000, was verified in artistic works, in subtle form, the appearance of new representations of these signs, as the movie called Resgate Cultural, presented here. Finally, it was analyzed two animated series, known as Noisé and Lá Vem, that works with identity elements of northeastern popular culture and pernambucana, moving for a current context and, this way, resignifying new interpretations.pt_BR
